2021 Season updates
NEW MEMBERS
BCWCS is excited to be hosting tryouts on April 9th! We are holding two sessions in Alumni Stadium: - 5pm-7pm - 7pm-9pm To sign up for tryouts please fill out the following Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf7x1pKbhUn2Keh58HC7Q3NCdotUxpg9T4xEfmJ6TC0mEttXw/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1&flr=0&gxids=7628 Fill out this form anytime before April 9th at 12pm. Most Recent REGULAR SEASON Your Boston College Eagles went UNDEFEATED this regular season with a final regular season record of 9-0-1! By winning their conference they secured their spot at the Women's Region 1 Tournament. To see the scores of every game visit the Schedule & Results page. REGION 1 TOURNAMENT After a fantastic regular season BCWCS travelled to Conshohocken, PA and returned as REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!! Your Eagles won their group and then proceeded to beat Fordham University (2-0) in the semi-finals and TCNJ (3-1) in the championship. In addition to being Region 1 champions, Claire Perez (sophomore) was awarded the tournament MVP! Winning regionals advanced BCWCS to the NIRSA National Championship Tournament. NIRSA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT The Eagles travelled down to Round Rock, TX to compete in the National Championship. The first day, they won their group beating University of Wisconsin (2-0) and UCLA (1-0). They then advanced to the round of 16 where they beat Grand Valley in penalty kicks. Next, they beat Colorado State University in quarter-finals (1-0). They then faced off against Colorado University in semi-finals, who they beat 1-0. Finally, your Eagles fell 2-1 against Ohio State University in the championship game. BCWCS returned to Boston College as the #2 ranked women's club team in the nation, which is the team's highest finish ever!
